The review :

I, my wife and my daughter stayed at Radisson Blu Ahmedabad recently in the last week of July-2018 that was really great, spectacular and a memorable experience.

We were lucky to enjoy the week end offer, in which either of buffet lunch and buffet dinner was inclusive in the package and we were given the option to choose one of them. This was over and above the usual complimentary buffet breakfast.

To add to this, there was 30 % discount on other services like spa, the laundry service was complimentary and a free 15 minutes spa – foot massage for any two persons. All this was really delightful.

My wife had a 60 minutes spa and my daughter availed the complimentary 15 minutes foot message in the O2 Spa body massage center / O2 Spa outlet.  We had fixed an appointment couple of days in advance before our stay, to avail this service. The spa treatment was given by a trained and certified beautician in a serene atmosphere.

Food in Radisson Blu :

The hotel’s dining option is at the Timpani Restaurant that serves large number of delicious buffet varieties, desserts everyday and also there plenty of à la carte choices, providing the highest standards of food quality and service.

Even though the food was excellent and mouth-watering, some varieties were not hot enough, and cooled down quickly and this matter can be handled by the supervisory / managing staff in the restaurant.

One can get taste dishes from Italy, China, Thailand and India. There is a private gathering room also for special social functions or a business luncheon.

The waiters and the waitress at Timpani restaurant were really dedicated to serve the guests and were doing their best, and I really appreciate them sincerely.

On the same floor there is a great kabab factory to add to the enjoyment, serving delicious and creative kababs, Indian breads, rare gravy dishes, seasonal vegetables etc.

The rooms in Radisson Blu :

There are total 115 rooms with modern facilities, fixtures & furnishings, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, desks, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Out of them 77 are Superior Rooms plus 24 Business Class Rooms plus eight Executive Suites and plus five Business Class Suites or the Presidential Suite. You can have a nice view of the city outside and the rooms are provided the best personal attention and service.

The hotel has enough space to host an event, or throw a reception, have a birthday party etc.

Freebies include complimentary buffet breakfast, free parking space, and also complimentary airport shuttles are provided for suites and club level rooms.

Location of the Hotel Radisson Blu :

The hotel is located in a plush / luxurious / posh / rich (you can choose to use any words) locality in Ahmedabad. You can choose to stay here even if you are a businessman or a leisure traveler.

Hotel Radisson Blu Ahmedabad, is just five minutes from important attractions like the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, Gujarat University Exhibition & Convention Centre, and Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, and scenic attraction like Kankaria Lake.

For your fitness, you can keep up healthy routines with free weights and cardio equipment that includes cross-trainers and treadmills. 

There is no swimming pool at Radisson Blu Ahmedabad.

Move out and stroll to local clothing and food shops on the adjoining C.G. road or in a nearby shopping mall.

In all this I should not forget to mention about the nice, polite, helpful, supportive, and friendly staff who are good professionals too, provide great hospitality and you find yourself being with really good people, at Radisson Blu hotel Ahmedabad.

The room service is excellent, quick and prompt, and there is good housekeeping, and great ambiance in the hotel.

And finally I would always recommend a stay at Radisson Blu Ahmedabad, and rank it as one of the best 5 star hotels.
