Review of buffet dinner in Fern Hotel Mundra :

Even though I have never stayed in Fern Hotel Mundra, I and my family have been a regular visitor here either for a buffet or for a “a la carte” lunch and dinner since last couple of years.

We recently had a buffet dinner on 24^th May 2018 in Fern Hotel Mundra which was really very enjoyable. As usual, I called up the reception over phone and enquired whether there is buffet dinner today and also about the today’s buffet dinner menu recipes and the buffet dinner cost per person. This is because Fern Mundra does not have buffet dinner or buffet lunch every day. I was told by the Hotel Manager that it depends upon the occupancy and other prevailing festive schemes and offers. This time the buffet dinner was priced at Rs. 650/- per person plus taxes. The discounts are offered to employees of big business organizations; however you need to confirm what is applicable to you. The same is true for the food served during lunch and dinner in “a la carte”.

Needless to say about the complimentary breakfast served every day morning if you stay in Fern Hotel Mundra. However, otherwise the buffet breakfast is priced at Rs. 300/- person.

Each time I visited Fern Mundra since last two years, I have written the review of my experience on this travel blog - “MY HOLIDAY TRAVEL REVIEWS” with an intention that the review proves to be most helpful not only to food lovers or frequent hotel visitors, but to everyone who is either a local staying in Mundra, or an outside visitor who is planning a trip to Mundra or Kutch and wants to stay in a best budget hotel.  

This time also, the buffet dinner in Fern Hotel Mundra was a great experience. The Hotel Manager, Stewards, and other staff were friendlier with us. The buffet menu had good number of varieties, and I clicked some photos which would say much more than just words. The food quality was excellent, delicious and tasty right from the soup, starters, main course, desserts and ice-cream. The Hotel Manager informed that the varieties in the bakers basket have been made in-house ie. In the Fern Hotel’s own bakery.

This time, during the buffet dinner itself the hotel Manager asked me about my feedback on the food taste, and requested me to give an authentic one even though it is bad, and not just say OK or very nice or fine etc. I was really happy as how much the hotel is concerned about what the guests really feel. My authentic feedback on food quality and food taste, presentation, and food varieties was really going to help in making improvements in those areas.

What I feel, is as compared to Fern Hotels in other large cities, Fern Hotel Mundra needs to add up little more varieties in buffet dinner and buffet lunch, so that the food lovers have more choices. Everything else is at par.
