REVIEW OF DINNER IN THE SHIV NAUTICA HOTEL MUNDRA

I was alone and my family was out of the town for a couple of days in the second week of Feb-2018, and I was thinking to eat a nice non vegetarian meal for my dinner.

The first hotel that came to my mind was The Shiv Nautica. To be precise, it was on 9^th Feb 2018 (Friday).

I and my family had been to this hotel lot of times in the past thirteen years for lunch and dinner and had always enjoyed the delicious food and many varieties viz. Indian, Continental, Chinese cuisine, vegetarian and non-vegetarian in Mosaic Restaurant on the ground floor in a modern and comfortable air conditioned ambiance.

It could be because of this, I decided to go there once again. Accordingly, I reached Hotel Shiv Nautica, and made myself comfortable in the Mosaic Restaurant began to browse through the menu card. The selection was a la carte.

It was very difficult to place an order for food, looking to the mouth watering varieties.

To begin with, there were 6 varieties each of Veg. & continental veg. starters, and 9 varieties of non-veg starters and 11 varieties of continental non-veg starters.

More items include potage soup vegetable, potage soup non-veg, continental veg soups, bread, ice cream, appetizers, salads & raita, main course – veg, main course – non veg, noodles, rice, tandoor se etc. etc.

It was really a nice food experience once again and many thanks to the Shiv Nautica Hotel chefs for the tasty preparation.

The hotel Shiv Nautica falls in the category of 3 star hotels in Kutch and deluxe hotels in Kutch, designed with a nautical theme and has a lush green lawn inside.

I have never stayed in Shiv Nautica, however being a visitor to the hotel since past 13 years I have come to know that the hotel has all the essential facilities as one would expect.

To name them, the facilities are Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Laundry & Dry Cleaning, Internet facility, Power Generator, Doctor on Call, Swimming Pool, Health Club, Banquet Facilities, Gymnasium, and Conference Hall.

The conference hall named as Terrazzo is sufficiently big to accommodate 100 people and various occasions like corporate meetings and events can be hosted in it.

The room facilities include Non / Ac spacious rooms, 24 hr Room Service, Attached Bathroom, Running H/C Water, Cable Television, Mini bar, Direct-dial Phone.

There is a huge free parking space in the hotel premises, and Shiv Nautica can arrange for Taxis, and airport transportation. All this makes Hotel Shiv Nautica Mundra be one of the best hotels in Kutch.

I give my best ranking to Shiv Nautica hotel and would always recommend it to others for its best taste and quality of food, best service, and a very nice, co-operative and well trained staff.
