REVIEW OF DINNER IN HOTEL SHIV NAUTICA MUNDRA

I had been to the hotel on 18^th November 2017 for a dinner with my family. It was just for a change. We all love to eat in hotels and visit once or twice in a month, and in the earlier years the visits were more frequent.

Since I have been staying in Mundra since the year 2005, in the last twelve years, there has been lot many visits to hotel Shiv Nautica either for lunch or dinner.

One thing I would like to appreciate about the hotel is that they have maintained the quality and taste all these years.

Normally it so happens that if the best cooks or chefs leave the hotel, and if you happen to visit the hotel in the interim period before a good replacement arrives, then you will hesitate from visiting again immediately next time, as the food taste hasn’t given you the desired satisfaction.

However, in the case of Shiv Nautica hotel, never did this happen. We have found a consistency in quality of food and the taste all the time throughout.

The food in this hotel has been bit costly right from the beginning.

For the dinner, we were the first to enter the ground floor indoor multi cuisine mosaic restaurant, and soon after that another three tables also got occupied.  In spite of this, the service level didn’t plunge. We were served food in time.

For dinner, this time we ordered sweet corn vegetable soup, butter chicken, chicken fried rice, masala papad and rotis etc. from large variety recipes in menu card.  The prices of the dishes were on a higher side. The dinner was a la carte.

We did not have to wait and wait for the next dish to arrive. The stewards and waiters responded immediately when I raised my finger for some requirement, and they were attentive on their customers while they moved from one table to another in the restaurant. 

It was really a nice experience, and this time I thought of writing a review which I never did in the past twelve years. The main reason behind this was, it occurred to me this time that the hotel has been able to maintain consistency in the taste and quality of food all these years and that’s just an amazing thing. 

Never did I have a similar experience with other hotels in Mundra and even hotels in other cities in the last more than 40 years. Let me mention that my age as of now is 53 years.

This information will be helpful to many tourists and travelers, who will be coming to Mundra, may be on an official business trip or a leisure trip. 

Shiv Nautica is really suitable for business men, professionals, executives and also for families. The hotel is located within 5 kilometers distance from Mundra ST Bus Stand, has easy access to transport and is also within 15 kilometers distance from port. 

I have never stayed in Hotel Shiv Nautica, as I am residing in Mundra in MICT Township provided by the Mundra International Container Terminal, a port operated by DP world.

For a stay, Hote Shiv Nautica has different types of rooms viz. Executive Room, Superior Room, Deluxe Room and Suites equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a lush green lawn which can be seen through the restaurant. You can get various dishes of Indian, Continental, and Chinese varieties which are vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. 

During your stay in Nautica, they provide breakfast in the morning which is a complimentary one, as per the trending prescription everywhere. It is a buffet breakfast; however, the lunch and dinner both are a la carte. 

I haven’t seen the rooms; however I would dare to say that they would be nice and comfortable, looking to the well maintained and plush lounge at the reception, the surroundings, and the decency and professional level of the staff. 

Shiv Nautica Hotel also has a conference room to accommodate around hundred people, a board room for around 20 people and a health club. 

The Hotel Shiv Nautica Mundra is one of the hotels of the Shiv Hotels. The other hotels are viz. THE GRAND and THE REGENCY located at Gandhidham, THE MID-TOWN located at Adipur, THE AJANTA located in Rajkot, THE MIRAGE located in Siracha Mundra.
